We believed and still believe that graphene-based materials will change the world, because they themselves are another world, two-dimensional. On the one hand it is a very simple material, on the other hand it is very difficult to combine a two-dimensional material one atom thick with the three-dimensional world of real objects.
In addition to the history of fundamental research, we have been actively working on applied developments - a whole class of objects and materials of a new type, which we created thanks to the unusual properties of functionalized graphene.
